PG Paper CEO Dr Poonam Gupta OBE was recently interviewed by Indian news company TICE. TICE News is an India-based media company who primarily focuses on reporting on stories within the Indian startup ecosystem.
Poonam was asked to feature in TICE TV’s Shrepreneur Shakti series, which was created as a tribute to female entrepreneurs who have established their own successful business, gaining an insight into their journey and the challenges they have faced along the way.
In this episode, the conversation focusses on Poonam’s entrepreneurial journey, which started in 2002 when she first travelled to Scotland. Poonam speaks about how she became tired of looking for work, and made the decision to start her own business, PG Paper, from her kitchen table in 2003. During this exclusive interview, the conversation also moves towards the importance of education and trade relations between the UK and India.
