Who Are FSC?
Established in 1994, The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is an international non-governmental organisation that focuses on the promotion of responsible care and management of all forests around the globe. Twenty-eight years since its origin, FSC has established itself as the most esteemed and respected accreditation for forests in the world.
FSC Week
From the 24-30 September, PG Paper and many other organisations around the globe have taken part in FSC Week 2022. Formerly recognised as FSC Friday, the campaign is celebrated every year to help raise awareness around the importance of sustainable forestry and responsible consumption.
The week-long campaign allows FSC accredited organisations to showcase their passion for sustainable forestry, whilst also coming together with other license holders to spread the word on the importance of conserving forests.

Sustainability: Our Key focus
Here at PG Paper, we have always been environmentally focused and driven by sustainability, with our initial key purpose being to provide solutions for defective and redundant material that would in turn prevent waste going to landfills. Since our establishment in 2003, sustainability continues to remain at the heart of everything we do.
Having gone through a rigorous auditing process, in 2019 PG Paper was delighted to be awarded an FSC certification, complying with the highest environmental standards in the market. PG Paper is certified for Chain of Custody (COC), meaning that many of our traded paper products can be tracked from the certified initial source at the beginning of the process to the end.
PG Paper continue working with sustainable products obtained from well-managed forests, and drive forward our focus on sustainable development.
Our Sustainable Product Offering
Consumers are becoming much more environmentally aware, with the demand for sustainable packaging alternatives continuing to increase. As demand increases, the recognition of FSC certified products has also risen, with 76% of people within the UK recognising the FSC logo as of this year.
