Cartiere Saci and Tosotec in partnership again to support new paper machine rebuild
Toscotec will conclude the dryer section rebuild of PM2, which includes a replacement of PM2’s current cast-iron dryers with their TT SteelDryers, at Cartiere Saci’s paper mill in Italy. Toscotec and Cartiere Saci have been working together for almost a decade, with their latest partnership taking place last year, which involved Toscotec rebuilding the press section of PM2.

BPI® Compostability Certification given to Twin Rivers Paper EcoBarrier® PFAS-Free Packaging Papers
The Biodegradable Products Institute ® (BPI®) has given compostability certification to Twin River’s portfolio of EcoBarrier® PFAS-free packaging papers, with products suitable to be safely cycled back into the soil at a commercial composting facility. Twin Rivers have been at the forefront of PFAS-free food packaging papers. This new achievement of BPI certification will allow them to advise consumers when items are compostable and support their sustainable choices.

Schumacher Packaging set to double production capacity after they commission Voith to rebuild PM 2 in Myszków
The rebuild proposed to begin mid-2023 will have a key focus on sustainability and efficiency, which will lead to double its production capacity of lightweight containerboard from 500 to 1000 tons per day.
