The WEPA Group Set to Double British Production
German-based company WEPA which specialises in the production of hygiene paper products is set to double its production capacity in the UK. The group has introduced a new paper machine at their Welsh site in Bridgend, allowing them to heighten their output of hygiene paper products across Britain. The paper produced is then manufactured into toilet and kitchen paper for the British market, in which WEPA holds a significant presence.
The new machine will allow WEPA to produce 70,000 tons of tissue paper per year from both 100% recycled fibers and virgin fibers.
