As another year passes, PG Paper is celebrating their 19th year in business. The past 12 months have been challenging yet rewarding as we experienced significant growth as a company and overcame many hurdles.
So, as we grow another year older, we look back at a few of our key milestones throughout PG Paper’s 19th year as a company.
PG Team Grows Again
As we kicked off our 19th year in business, one of our main targets was to expand and make impactful additions to our international team across all departments, with a leading focus on our global sales team. Our ambitions and strategic goals set out last year had our team at the core, and we are delighted to have welcomed several new members to the PG family who have been influential in the progression we have made this year. As we move into our 20th year, recruitment remains an integral aspect of our ambitious growth plans, and we are excited about what lies ahead.
Throughout our 19th year, we have been thrilled to see multiple team members recognised for their hard work and commitment through various prestigious awards.
Our Head of Logistics and longest serving team member, Fiona Dempster, was acknowledged for her many years of commitment to the logistics industry at the 2022 Amazon everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards, winning the Freight Leader Award.
Our CEO, Puneet Gupta, was just last week recognised for his continuous drive, focus and exceptional leadership skills at the 20th Asian Achievers Awards, being awarded the ‘Special Award for Business Leadership.’
Dr Poonam Gupta OBE, our CEO and PG Paper founder, has also been recognised for her incredible entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills and nominated for ‘Business Women of the Year’ at the 4th Scottish Women’s Awards. In addition, Poonam is nominated for both ‘Inspiring Leader of the Year’ and ‘Growth Business of the Year’ at the 2022 Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards. We wish Poonam all the best for all upcoming awards, which take place over the coming weeks.
Expanding Our Global Reach
Expanding our international presence is an ongoing goal for us here at PG Paper, and over the last year, we have worked hard across our international team to widen the scope of the PG Paper brand. Through the development of our global team, we have worked together to enter previously unsought markets, build our international presence, and expand our reach. As we look forward to our 20th year, we have ambitious plans to stretch our existing global reach and take PG further than ever.
Reflecting on our 19th year, we have many positives to celebrate, with our global team truly at the core of this. Moving into our 20th year, we hope to continue pushing towards our targets set for 2023, growing the business and reaching new heights as a team.
Onwards and upwards. Happy 19th Birthday, PG Paper!
