We are counting down to the Action for Children Scotland Sports Dinner 2017 sponsored by PG Paper when we show our continuing support for this fantastic charity.
The event will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 16 June and the guest speaker will be tennis legend and former British number one Greg Rusedski who will be sharing his experiences. Combined with the witty commentary that is inevitable from the evening’s MC, Peter Martin, the event is bound to be a fantastic success!
Last year’s event raised over £90,000 for Scottish children and PG Paper have been thrilled to bring top guests including Frank Bruno, Sir AP McCoy, Steve Davis and Joe Calzaghe to speak at the event.
Action for Children Scotland: A Worthy Cause
Action for Children’s work with children, parents and carers in Scotland is truly inspiring, providing support and structure to the lives of vulnerable children. This allows them to build closer and more supportive relationships with their families and to create a happier home environment.
The Action for Children Charity as a whole has been offering their help and advice for 147 years to over 390,000 children, teenagers, parents and carers and has gained support from not only PG Paper but also various celebrities such as Trevor McDonald, Sian Lloyd and Matthew Lewis who have all become ambassadors for the charity and Angela Rippon who played for the charity on Celebrity who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
