What is Newsprint Paper?
Newsprint paper is produced from wood containing pulp. Newsprint paper is very thin, which means that paper manufacturers can produce it more economically. It does still maintain suitable thickness that allows it to be printed on both sides. It is a lower cost solution for printing requirements. An ideal type of paper for short term printing needs.
The paper we supply to business around the world tends to be used for the printing of newspapers. However, it is also effective as an alternative and lower cost packaging paper, being used for packaging, wrapping and sometimes for covering tables!
Types of Paper from PG Paper

Higher Brightness
An effect achieved by additional bleaching which occurs at the manufacturing stage. This type of newsprint is found having 40-55gsm and 68, 72 and 72% ISO Brightness.
Coloured
Also during the manufacturing stage, newsprint can be dyed. The standard colours for this are green, blue, pink, yellow, orange or salmon.
