PG Paper Company Ltd confirms its commitment to supporting compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which applies from 30 December 2025 and preparing for the forthcoming UK Forest Risk Commodities (UKFRC) regulation.
As part of our commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental sustainability, PG Paper has implemented steps designed to ensure that, wherever possible, relevant products placed on the EU market are:
- Deforestation-free, as defined by the EUDR
- Legally produced, in accordance with the relevant legislation of the country of origin
- Fully traceable to their geolocation and origin of production
To support the compliance process, our due diligence framework has been developed to include, wherever feasible, the following elements :
- Comprehensive information collection where available, including product type, country of production, and plot-level geolocation data
- A risk assessment framework based on country, commodity and supplier risk factors, where appropriate
- Clear risk mitigation measures, including supplier engagement, verification of geolocation data and use of satellite monitoring where appropriate
- Supplier onboarding and declarations confirming legal and deforestation-free sourcing where feasible
- Support for customer DDS submissions, including provision of geolocation and legality evidence upon request and where available, to help our customers fulfil their legal obligations under the regulation
- Full integration with the TRACES portal, where applicable
- Recordkeeping and audit readiness, ensuring evidence is maintained for a minimum of five years
PG Paper’s framework is aligned with the requirements set out in the EUDR and is monitored through regular internal audits, supplier compliance tracking and integration with external verification tools.
We remain committed to environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance and supporting our customers in meeting their obligations under current and upcoming regulations — including the EUDR and the anticipated implementation of the UKFRC.
