PG Paper is proud to announce that four team members have been shortlisted as finalists in the Packaging News Women in Packaging Excellence Awards 2026.
The awards celebrate women who are driving innovation, leadership and positive change across the packaging industry.
We are delighted to see team members recognised across four categories, reflecting the strength, expertise and diversity of talent at PG Paper.

Recognising Excellence Across the Packaging Industry
Organised by Packaging News, the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards highlight the achievements of women across packaging, manufacturing, logistics, sustainability and business leadership.
This year, PG Paper has finalists across multiple categories:
Lyndsey James-Williams

Finalist – Digital & Data Transformation Leader Award
Finalist – Packaging Leadership Award
As Commercial Director, Lyndsey James-Williams drives commercial growth and digital innovation across PG Paper.
She has led major transformation projects that improve efficiency, strengthen collaboration and support better decision-making across the business.
Her strategic leadership continues to position PG Paper for sustainable growth in global packaging markets.
Beyond PG Paper, Lyndsey serves as Vice President of the Paper Industry Charitable Trust (PICT). Her appointment alongside Lindsay Robinson of Fedrigoni, PICT’s first female President, marks a significant milestone for the organisation and highlights the growing influence of women within the traditionally male-dominated paper and packaging industry.
Holly McIntyre

Finalist – Packaging Marketing & Brand Impact Award
As Marketing Manager, Holly McIntyre leads campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
She combines creativity with data-driven planning to deliver measurable results all whilst coordinating the wider marketing team. Her work helps our audiences better understand packaging solutions, sustainability developments and market opportunities.
Fiona Dempster

Finalist – Supply Chain & Logistics Excellence Award
As Head of Logistics, Fiona Dempster oversees the movement of packaging materials across more than 60 countries.
She continually improves processes, drives efficiency and supports supply chain reliability. Her leadership helps customers receive the products they need, when they need them.
Last year, Fiona was awarded Highly Commended in Supply Chain & Logistics Excellence Award at last year’s Women in Packaging Excellence Awards for 2025.
Dr Poonam Gupta OBE

Finalist – Woman of the Year (Retailers & Manufacturers)
Founder and CEO of PG Paper, Dr Poonam Gupta OBE has built the business into a globally recognised paper, packaging and pulp trading company.
Her entrepreneurial vision, international outlook and commitment to sustainable growth continue to shape the future of the industry.
She remains a strong advocate for international trade, innovation and female leadership.

The packaging industry continues to evolve through innovation, sustainability and collaboration.
The Women in Packaging Excellence Awards recognise the individuals helping drive that progress.
These nominations reflect the achievements of Lyndsey, Holly, Fiona and Poonam. They also highlight the collective strength of the wider PG Paper team.
